Virtual Practice Management

We recently added the concept of “virtual” management services in response to the leadership crisis facing our industry.  As senior managers retire or other major transitions occur within the practice, groups find themselves without an experienced executive leadership. 

In some cases new managers with an excellent educational background are hired but need ramp-up time to learn the business issues specific to radiology.  There are more than 100,000 Medicare regulations alone and practice leaders are held to a “know or should have known” expectation.  An inadvertent violation can result in costly penalties and in a radiology practice, it is easy to find an error occurred 8,000 times before it was identified. 

The HRP principals can be added to your management team to support a new practice manager (or radiologist assigned to head the business effort) or just to check monthly billing reports to see if things are happening as they should—and when follow-up is needed.

The virtual management program is customized to the needs of the practice and approximately one more client can be accepted for the year.
